Balloon arches
An arch is the classic statement piece for graduation parties, school events and grand openings. Full arches span an entrance or walkway; framed arches (chiara, hoop or rectangle frames) give a cleaner look behind a dessert table or throne chair. Give the decorator the width and height of the space and whether the arch is indoors or outdoors.
Balloon garlands
Organic garlands use mixed balloon sizes for a fuller, more natural look and are priced mainly by length. Measure where the garland will go (over a doorway, across a backdrop or along a table) and share the measurement and colors in your request.
Indoor vs. outdoor balloon décor
Indoor installs hold up best. Outdoors, direct sun, heat and wind can make latex balloons fade, pop or oxidize faster. Mention if your event is outdoors and the pro can suggest shade, timing and materials that hold up better.
